TE Jeff Heuerman

Tight end Jeff Heuerman gradually lost his starting gig with the Denver Broncos following the arrival of 2019 first-round pick, tight end Noah Fant. He could be a trade target for some teams.

In this scenario, the Broncos trade him to the Houston Texans for a 5th-round pick. That could be considered a steal for the Broncos by some people. The Texans already gave away DeAndre Hopkins to the Arizona Cardinals for running back David Johnson. Major steal for Arizona..

So I could absolutely see the Texans biting on this trade.

Heuerman doesn’t necessarily put up big numbers (14 rec., 114 yards, Touchdown in 2019), but numbers do not tell a player’s whole story.

Heuerman is a solid blocking tight end. The Texans could use that to their advantage with the arrival of Johnson in their backfield.
