ILB Josey Jewell

The Denver Broncos drafted inside linebacker Josey Jewell in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Unfortunately, things haven’t worked out for the two sides, as Jewell has become a backup.

Jewell started just twelve of 31 games for the Broncos in the last two years. However, the Broncos got a surprise out of Alexander Johnson at the position and he has since made Jewell an afterthought.

One of the negatives about Jewell is his lack of speed. Typically, speed is needed at the inside linebacker position.

But the Broncos would probably like to have an overall better player. Jewell would be able to be a solid backup for many teams. Maybe he could catch on as a starter for a team such as the Cleveland Browns.
