The Arizona Cardinals made one of the best moves of the offseason by unloading David Johnson and his contract along with just a second-round pick for wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, maybe the best player at his position in the entire NFL.

After that move, there’s no doubt that the Cardinals are ready to compete in the NFC West, but they have to continue working to protect Kyler Murray.

They re-signed DJ Humphries at left tackle despite his inconsistencies and now they get Mekhi Becton, one of the most hulking tackle prospects to come along in some time.

Becton is big, long, athletic, and he’s only scratching the surface of his potential.

Kyler Murray is already a threat to escape the pocket, but imagine if he has time to throw? Becton can move to the right side and provide a nice wall for the young QB.
