29th Overall (Titans) – Jaylon Johnson, CB, Utah

Jaylon Johnson is a solid cornerback who possesses great size and speed. The 6’0”, 193 lb cornerback ran the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine at a respectable 4.5 seconds.

Johnson shows good reactionary skills when the ball is about to be caught by the receiver he is covering. In this case, some receivers he’d go up against are TY Hilton, Will Fuller, and D.J. Chark.

With the Tennessee Titans losing Logan Ryan (or straight up not bringing him back), Jaylon Johnson could fit in nicely, adding depth to the position which now has Adoree Jackson as the number one.

Johnson is a good communicator on the field. He should be able to pick up a defense fairly easily and help make sure that the players around him know what their assignments are or will be.

One thing Johnson will need to work on at the next level is knowing where opposing receivers are on the field. If he’s looking one way, he needs to have a better awareness of what’s going on around him.
