24th overall (Saints) – Jeff Gladney, CB, TCU

The New Orleans Saints have one of the most balanced rosters in the NFL. I love the idea of them enhancing a strength and going wide receiver with their top pick, so perhaps the Saints would go with Jeff Gladney’s TCU teammate Jalen Reagor here.

If not, the cornerback position is an area where the team needs some help.

They lost Eli Apple in free agency and although Janoris Jenkins is a big name, is he the long-term play opposite Marshon Lattimore?

Jeff Gladney had more passes defended than games played in college, so he knows how to get after the football.

I love Gladney’s physical presence and his inside-out versatility. He’s going to be a weapon in the NFL and if he doesn’t go in round one, the Broncos should be hoping and praying he lasts to 46 so they can get him.
