Antonio Gandy-Golden, Liberty

Because he played at Liberty, Antonio Gandy-Golden will likely be a day three pick after being saddled with the “he didn’t play top competition” status.

At 6-foot-4 and 223 pounds, Gandy-Golden has the size NFL scouts love. But he has speed to go with it, clocking a 4.6-second 40-yard dash at the combine. He put up big numbers for the Flames in college as well.

In two seasons at the school, Gandy-Golden caught 150 passes for 2,433 yards and 20 touchdowns. He averaged 16.2 yards per catch.

Gandy-Golden will need to work on his ability as a route runner but he has some raw potential that could turn into immense ability and he could help the Broncos in a big way, particularly if the team can develop a consistent slot receiver such as DaeSean Hamilton.

Being able to put Gandy-Golden on the outside opposite Courtland Sutton and at times, Tim Patrick could give Lock some big, athletic options to get the ball to.

With the ball in his hands, Gandy-Golden is tough to bring down and knows how to fight for every yard he can get. His length and catch radius make him an intriguing prospect and one that would make a good selection on day three of the draft.
