Third Round, First Pick (77th Overall)

Amik Robertson – CB – Louisiana Tech

With the first of two third-round picks for the Broncos, the team addresses their cornerback position with perhaps one of the most underrated corners in this draft class. Amik Robertson brings a huge positive enforcement to the Broncos’ defense.

With Chris Harris Jr. going to the Los Angeles Chargers in free agency, the spot as a second corner to A.J. Bouye needs to be filled. If, and that is a big if, Bryce Callahan is healthy, he would likely play in the slot.

Having a strong second cornerback will be important to the Broncos. Robertson has a knack for getting to the ball. If he is unable to take it away, he will bring you down big time.

There is just so many positive things to say about Robertson. I would not be surprised if he was a day two target for the Broncos. Other than a few players that could go in rounds one and two, the Louisiana Tech prospect has a lot to offer.
