The Denver Broncos have long had an affinity for Pac 12 players, and that doesn’t figure to change this year.

The Utah Utes’ defense was one of the most talented in college football in 2019, and that’s going to be reflected in the number of players they have drafted.

It’s also fascinating at how many of their players could be absolutely perfect fits for the Denver Broncos as you see Utah utilize a 4-2-5 look defensively a good majority of the time, and we also see that from Vic Fangio.

Jaylon Johnson is perhaps not a spectacular prospect, but he’s a very good one and a player who looks like he’s going to be a really good pro.

He’s played both inside as a nickel and outside at the cornerback position and has good enough athleticism and physicality to be a solid NFL starter right away.

This would give the Broncos flexibility with AJ Bouye and Bryce Callahan currently projected as the team’s starting cornerbacks. Callahan could fit inside as a nickel when the Broncos go to that look.
