5. (Gulp…) Trade up

If the Broncos aren’t going to take a wide receiver at 15 overall, one of their best options is to trade up and take a wide receiver at another pick.

The idea of trading up in the draft is not something every fan likes or agrees with. The Broncos’ 10 draft picks are valuable currency and spending it before even making a pick is tough for the fan base to swallow.

But if trading up ensures that the Broncos come away from this draft with one of Jerry Jeudy, CeeDee Lamb, or Henry Ruggs?

That’s worth considering, and it’s something people around the league have been talking about as a legit possibility.

The Broncos need to surround Drew Lock with playmakers. This is not the time to be cute and hope things work out for the best. Now is the time for the Broncos to be as aggressive as they need to be in order to secure the best player and put together the best roster they can.

dark. Next. If the Broncos trade up for a lineman, it better be this one

If that means trading some picks to move up and get a playmaker at receiver? So be it.
