Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. player. 879. S. Clemson. TannerMuse. 8

If one thing is evident in the non-linemen in this mock draft, it’s that I like speed. Speed is important for most positions in football. Tanner Muse out of Clemson is a good example of this.

He ran a 4.41 40-yard dash at the Scouting Combine.

Muse is a hybrid player, able to play safety but also linebacker. While I already selected an inside linebacker in Troy Dye, it is very good to have versatility.

Muse played in 50 games at Clemson, recording 191 tackles, 3.5 sacks and 7 interceptions. With Kareem Jackson and Justin Simmons mentoring him, I feel as if Muse can become a solid backup, as well as a strong special teams contributor.
