We talk about the Denver Broncos needing receivers. I already took one in the  first round of this mock draft with CeeDee Lamb, and it’s about that time where I take my second.

Liberty receiver Antonio Gandy-Golden is a guy that stands out to me due to his excellent catch radius. His height (6’4”) makes him a very tempting selection in this year’s draft. He won’t wow anybody with his speed (4.6 40-yard dash), but there are some wideouts in the league that are phenomenal without having that burst of speed.

A knock on Gandy-Golden is that he played just two seasons of collegiate football. To counter that, however, is that he had 120 career receptions in those two seasons, and 1,037 receiving yards in his first year, and then 1,396 in his second.

He caught ten touchdowns in each of those seasons as well.

The Broncos have the following receivers on their roster: Courtland Sutton, Tim Patrick, Diontae Spencer, DaeSean Hamilton, Fred Brown, Juwann Winfree, Trinity Benson and Kelvin McKnight. I have a feeling that the receiver group is going to look a lot different in 2020.

Gandy-Golden might be a nice addition.
