A lot of people, it seems, think that the Denver Broncos need to move up from the 15th overall pick if they want to select one of the big three wide receivers in this year’s class.

In this particular instance, they did not have to move. And with that, I took Oklahoma wide receiver CeeDee Lamb.

Denver has a clear No. 1 receiver in Courtland Sutton, but lack any depth beyond No. 14.

Lamb lit up his opponents in college. While in his three collegiate seasons, he did not have more than 65 receptions in a single year, but he made up for that in yardage gained as well as touchdown receptions.

In 2017, Lamb scored seven touchdowns in thirteen games.  He scored eleven and fourteen touchdowns the next two seasons respectively.

In 2019, Lamb averaged 21.4 yards per reception. That is nuts.

The Denver Broncos want to give Drew Lock all the help they can. The top three wide receivers are bound to be super stars, and Lamb could be a nice addition to an already-young offense.
