Running back: C.J. Anderson

Others considered: Knowshon Moreno, Phillip Lindsay

This position was one of the tougher to pick from. Believe it or not, Knowshon Moreno ranks sixth in team history in total rushing yards. Phillip Lindsay, though he has only been with the team for two seasons, has posted back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons as an undrafted player.

But C.J. Anderson, also an undrafted player, was part of bigger moments which had a bigger impact on the team overall.

In five seasons with the Broncos, Anderson ran for 3,051 yards and 20 touchdowns. He was also a key piece in the team’s Super Bowl run in 2015.

His efforts that season were the deciding factor to include him on this list over the likes of Moreno and Lindsay.

Anderson rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown in the team’s win over the Panthers in the Super Bowl but he also had a key play that sprung the team toward home-field advantage throughout the playoffs earlier that season.

In a Sunday Night Football game that went into overtime against the Patriots, Anderson ran through the snow (video) for 49-yard game-winning touchdown.

Moreno did rush for more yards than Anderson, but he was also a first-round pick who only had one good season and is largely considered a disappointment by many fans.

Other fans will shake their heads that Lindsay was even included on this list, but the only thing that really stopped him from getting the spot was time due to the fact that he played at the end of the decade. If he had three seasons like he has had instead of just two, he would have bumped Anderson out of the spot.
