Head coach: Gary Kubiak

If you’re going to have a team, you have to have a head coach.

One could make the argument that John Fox deserves this spot. After all, he won the division every year he was the team’s coach. But he also lost the Super Bowl.

You can’t put a coach that lost the Super Bowl on the list over the guy who won one, and that is why Gary Kubiak is the team’s head coach for the All-Decade squad.

Kubiak’s long career from player to offensive coordinator to head coach is well documented and though his tenure with the team in his most recent stint seemed a bit tenuous, he still got the Broncos over the hump, something Fox could not do.

Kubiak finished with a 21-11 record in two seasons as the team’s head coach before resigning following the 2016 season. That led to the team hiring Vance Joseph, a guy who would definitely be on the worst of the decade list.

The other guys who coached the Broncos in the past decade were Josh McDaniels, Eric Studesville on an interim basis, and Vic Fangio, the current coach.

Kubiak’s time with the team as head coach was short, but it should be remembered fondly.
