Paul Richardson, wide receiver

The Washington Redskins once paid Paul Richardson big money to get him out of Seattle to come and be a DeSean Jackson replacement.

That didn’t happen.

Richardson has struggled with injuries throughout his NFL career but his big play talent is evident.

Although he’s likely a post-draft type of free agent, Richardson is an intriguing fit with the Broncos because he played his college ball at Colorado and the Broncos have a desperate need for speed at the receiver position.

Pretty much everyone expects the Broncos to take a receiver at the top of their 2020 NFL Draft class, but depending on which players they get, Richardson might be the fastest player they are able to add between now and the start of the 2020 season, whenever that ends up being.

At any rate, Richardson has the talent worthy of taking a shot on for a cheap one year deal, and he could end up being a major bargain at whatever price the Broncos would pay.
