Trevor Pryce, defensive tackle

The Broncos made some nice moves in free agency to aid the defensive line, trading for Jurrell Casey and re-signing Shelby Harris. But imagine being able to add Trevor Pryce to that group.

The Broncos lost long-time starter Derek Wolfe in free agency and though the team has Mike Purcell, Dre’Mont Jones and DeMarcus Walker, it might trade them all in for Pryce.

A former first-round pick, Pryce was the model of consistency for many years on the Broncos’ defensive line, helping the team win back-to-back Super Bowls.

He racked up 64 sacks during his time with the team and went to four straight Pro Bowls. But the accolades don’t stop there. From 1999-2001, he was named an All-Pro in each season and was eventually named as part of the Broncos’ 50th Anniversary Team.

Pryce is a guy that would always make the team better, but in a year where more depth could be used along the defensive line and the absence of Wolfe, he would be a welcomed addition to the squad.
