Starters: Garett Bolles, Dalton Risner, Patrick Morris, Graham Glasgow, Ja’Wuan James

Glasgow is the wild card here as he has the ability to play guard or center. However, the expectation right now is that he will play guard, opening the door for the name that sticks out like a sore thumb here — Patrick Morris.

An undrafted player out of TCU, Morris began his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers where he was coached by Mike Munchak, who is now the Broncos’ offensive line coach. When the Steelers waived Morris last December, the Broncos swooped in and grabbed him, likely on the advice of Munchak.

The team does seem to have confidence in Morris as it allowed Connor McGovern to leave as a free agent. But can Morris cut it as a starter? The center position is one the Broncos should target in the draft.

At tackle, you have the combination of Garett Bolles and Ja’Wuan James, two players almost no one is going to be excited about, but as of now, they play two of the biggest roles on the team and the hope is that both can settle in and hold those roles down.

That said, it should come as no surprise if the Broncos look to obtain another tackle through the draft and they might even use an early pick on one.

Glasgow and Dalton Risner make for a solid combination at guard and if the team can get consistent play from its center, the interior of the line should be quite solid. That could make for some big running lanes for Gordon and Lindsay to run through.

Many fans have been waiting for the Broncos to upgrade the offensive line for years, but if James and Bolles step up, it’s actually a pretty good group.

Stay tuned to Predominantly Orange as we look at the defensive starters next time.
