Starter: Drew Lock

For the first time since Manning retired, the Broncos enter the offseason with plenty of hope at the quarterback position.

There will be no quarterback competition, as the team dealt with when it was deciding between the likes of Mark Sanchez, Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch. There will also be no hoping that a veteran retread that wouldn’t start for many teams, will turn it around in Denver, such as Case Keenum or Joe Flacco.

There is no doubt who the starting quarterback of the Broncos is and that is the biggest reason to be excited about this team.

Though it was a small sample size, Lock played extremely well last season after the Broncos toiled around with Flacco and Brandon Allen.

The team did sign a new backup quarterback in Jeff Driskel and the only other quarterback currently on the roster is Brett Rypien. The Broncos seem to have a plan in place at the quarterback position and for the first time in years, it’s actually a good one.

Lock is the future of this team and if all goes well, he will continue to grow into one of the best young passers in the league.
