Demarcus Robinson

Some may see it as a surprise that Demarcus Robinson is still available while others feel he is just a product of an explosive offensive scheme.

A fourth-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2016, Robinson had largely been a disappointment for the team until last season. He received extra work in 2019 due to the Chiefs having injury issues with both Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins.

He finished the season with 32 catches for 449 yards and four touchdowns. He had some big games in helping the team reach the ultimate prize last year, but it can be easily argued that any wide receiver is going to succeed when they have Patrick Mahomes throwing the ball to them.

Robinson would likely be the most expensive player on this list but the Broncos, who already grabbed former Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon, could bring in another player from a division rival.

Robinson is not the fastest guy, but he has good size at 6-foot-3 and comes from an offense predicated on the passing game. Perhaps he could lend something to the Broncos from his time with the Chiefs or if nothing else, be an asset in learning how to slow them down.

It’s very likely that the Broncos are content with what they have done in free agency this offseason. They may also be happy to wait until the draft to improve the wide receiver position.

There would be nothing wrong with that approach. None of these players on this list are likely to be major difference-makers, but none of them would break the bank either.
