Denver Broncos vs. Dallas Cowboys: October 6, 2013

There is only one appropriate word to describe this game- shootout.

Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys took a quick 14-0 lead over the Broncos in front of a delighted crowd in Dallas. Denver would score 21 quick points, taking their first lead on a Manning to Julius Thomas connection before the half, followed up by a rushing touchdown on a sneak route to send the Broncos into the locker room up 28-17.

What would happen next was pure pandemonium. Romo and Manning would score a combined 99 points in a game that was truly not over until it was over. No lead was safe, as the Broncos learned as they watched a 15-point lead in the third quarter wither away.

Dallas would capitalize off of a Manning interception and would take their first lead as the third quarter ended. With the game tied up at 48 with under two minutes remaining, Romo would make a fatal error, throwing the ball right into the hands of an awaiting Danny Trevathan in Dallas territory. Denver would kick a field goal to take home a 51-48 victory.

The Sheriff kept his guns a’ blazin’ and won the shootout. Check out the best moments here.

Denver Broncos vs. New England Patriots: November 29, 2015

The 2015 season was full of electrifying moments, and this game was of no exception. Down 21-7, it appeared that the New England Patriots would once again go unscathed and remain undefeated. However, the Broncos were not down and out just yet.

In the second half, the Thunder and Lightning duo of Demaryius Thomas and Sanders would come up huge when called up, and Denver would take a 24-21 lead with little time remaining in the game. However, regulation would end on a Stephen Gostkowski field goal to send the game to overtime.

Tom Brady would get his opportunity first, but Miller would end their drive and ultimately, their chances, as C.J. Anderson would take it to the house untouched to win it on Denver’s first possession, 30-24.
