Eric Ebron, TE, Colts

As previously stated, the Broncos don’t really have a lot of veterans on offense. As a matter of fact, their elders at the skill spots are currently Courtland Sutton and Phillip Lindsay along with backup tight end Jeff Heuerman.

There’s nothing wrong with that, but the Broncos don’t necessarily need leadership as they do guys who have proven they are great at their craft in the NFL.

Eric Ebron has done that.

The idea of adding Ebron is simple — give yourself a pair of the most athletic pass-catching tight ends in the game.

Ebron was picked 9th overall in his draft class mainly due to the fact that he could run and jump and be explosive. He has struggled some with drops in his career, but he’s also been a touchdown machine in red zone work and has big-time potential after the catch with his speed.

For the right price, again, adding a player like Ebron would be a fun way to support Drew Lock’s development by surrounding him with as much talent as possible.
