3. Arik Armstead-DL

The 26-year old defensive lineman really blossomed in his second year as a full time starter.

After a somewhat lackluster start to his career, he finally burst onto the scene with 10 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, and 18 quarterback hits in 2019.

The 49ers say they want to re-sign him, but with virtually no cap space to work with, it’s likely he’ll hit the market. While he could command a deal in the $10-12 million range, the Broncos are currently dead last in the league in defensive line spending, with only $6.2 million committed to the position.

It’s looking like Elway is prioritizing re-signing Wolfe over Shelby Harris (if either of them are priorities), and if they can bring both Wolfe and Armstead into the building, it could set this pass rush on fire.
