1. Amari Cooper – WR

The Dallas Cowboys are currently locked in heated negotiations with quarterback Dak Prescott, and the cap ramifications could mean that they can’t afford to re-sign Amari Cooper. If Cooper hits the open market, he would be a top free agent, and a fantastic signing for the Broncos.

The 25 year old, four-time Pro Bowler would bring a premiere deep threat to the Broncos offense, and serve in tandem with fellow Pro Bowler Courtland Sutton. With his 4.4 speed and proven ability to stretch the field, this would give the Broncos perhaps the best 1-2 combo at wide receiver in the league.

He wouldn’t be cheap, but even if Elway and co. had to shell out $18 Million/Year, it’d essentially offset the benefit of Lock’s rookie contract and give their developing passer a bonafide star at Wide Receiver for years to come.

Denver currently has just $5.4 Million spent at receiver, and shelling out a big contract like this wouldn’t even move them into top 10 in the league.
