The Denver Broncos war room is figuring out their moves ahead of the March FA period, and there are some top free agents that the team will likely consider.

According to Spotrac.com, the Denver Broncos have just under $40 million in cap space heading into the 2020 free agency period. There are a few pending situations that could move that number (Joe Flacco, in particular) but it’ll likely hover around $50 million for the Free Agency period.

Parting ways with Flacco ($13.6 Million in dead cap, $10.05 million in savings), so the Broncos should have around 47-48 Million to throw around in Free Agency.

While some of this will possibly go to key re-signings around the roster, the Broncos can afford to swing for the fences and bring in a marquee free agent while still filling out positions of need.

The Broncos currently spend the 6th most money on their defense league-wide, and only 30th on their offense, so some of the money should naturally shift to Drew Lock’s side of the ball.

There are some big names this year, and if Elway wants to swing for the fences and bring in a top free agent it could go a long way to revitalizing the team.
