Van Jefferson of Florida is a 6’1”, 200-pound receiver who I got in the fourth round in this mock draft.

Jefferson is spectacular with his route-running. He isn’t the fastest player, but he can fool his defender into thinking he’s running one route and then end up running another. This is especially good when it comes to press coverage.

He could be a very useful piece to a Broncos offense that needs some help. The Broncos ranked 30th in third-down conversions for the 2019 season. Jefferson may be the guy that helps them climb those rankings.

Jefferson is good at making adjustments to poorly thrown passes. While Lock hasn’t shown that too much, it is bound to happen. Jefferson could be the guy who saves those passes from hitting the ground or hitting the hands of opposing defenders.

Wide receiver is a position of need for the Broncos. Adding Jefferson as their second receiver of the draft should be considered.
