Denzel Mims, WR, Baylor

Length, strength, speed, catch radius, strong hands, quickness — you name it, Denzel Mims has it.

Although Mims tested in the 90th percentile for speed (4.38 in the 40-yard dash) I would imagine he’s in an even more select group among players his height (6-foot-3).

If the Broncos are looking for a dynamic player to take the top off of defenses with pure speed, Mims has proven he can do that.

Mims attacks the football in the air like his life depends on it, but he’s not just a big, tall, fast receiver — he can block as well. As a matter of fact, that is one of the most fun things that stands out about Mims when you watch him play is the attention to detail he pays in the running game.

Over the last three seasons at Baylor, Mims caught 182 passes with 28 touchdowns and 2,901 receiving yards.
