Mekhi Becton – Louisville

The Denver Broncos could use some help at the tackle position, especially since Bolles was a bit off during the season and Ja’Wuan James spent most of the time injured. If Denver were to take Becton in the draft, that could mean one of those two I mentioned earlier could face some competition.

What impressed me the most about Becton was his speed. During the combine, he ran a 5.11 40 time. That was the best time among offensive linemen all time, until it was beat numerous times. However, that amount of speed will be very beneficial coming off the snap. His 23 rep bench press was also pretty impressive.

Becton is one of the top tackles coming out of the draft. He could be a dark horse first round pick for the Denver Broncos depending on how the board moves.
