Rest of the inside linebackers

Corey Nelson

Nelson was a solid player on special teams for the Broncos and also spelled on a couple defensive plays. Unfortunately, he suffered a torn bicep injury. It has been reported that the Denver Broncos will not re-sign him, so it was a terrible end to his 2019 season.

Josh Watson

Watson did not see enough of the field to warrant a grade for this season, but he could develop into a special teams player down the road. He was often on the field due to injuries to other players. Look to see his name pop up a few times in preseason and on special teams in 2020.

Joseph Jones

Jones spent a good amount of the season sidelined due to an injury. After he returned, the team did not see much of him. He was often a healthy scratch. We will see if he can get on the field in 2020.

Now we move to the edge rushers or outside linebackers…
