Josey Jewell

2019 Stats: 38 tackles (21 solo), 1.5 sacks

Speaking of Josey Jewell, the former Iowa Hawkeye had a pretty rough 2019 season. He did play in 15 games but seemed to be overtaken by Johnson after the first quarter of the season. Perhaps it is the case of the sophomore slump.

Either way, there was not a lot of production from Jewell during the 2019 season. Perhaps he will bounce back and get back to his 58 tackles. But what if Johnson goes out there and performs well again? Then a tough decision will need to be made.

If it works to the point that Johnson and Jewell can combine forces, that could be fun. We shall see if Jewell can get over the sophomore slump.
