2019 Stats: 93 tackles (51 solo), 1.5 sacks, one interception

After the first quarter of the 2019 season, the Denver Broncos got to see what they had in Alexander Johnson after Josey Jewell could not play due to injury. And he took off with his opportunity in his first game. He made a solid interception of Philip Rivers in the end zone to kill a drive.

From there, he became such a tackling machine in key situations. It seemed he would make big play after big play from time to time. Imagine if he had started the season. He most likely would have racked up over 100 total tackles.

2020 will be an interesting year for Johnson. He could very well develop into an inside linebacker that the Broncos will need for this defense.
