Conclusion

The Denver Broncos are getting there at the linebacker position. Perhaps one more inside linebacker could help this unit get over the hump. Having Bradley Chubb back healthy in 2020 will make a huge difference.

I foresee the Broncos looking in free agency or the draft to get an inside linebacker to help out with Alexander Johnson. Just because Todd Davis has the option exercised does not mean Denver will not look for an inside linebacker.

Derek Wolfe lining up free agent visits. dark. Next

As far as the edge rushers are concerned, never count John Elway out of getting one at some point in the offseason. Hopefully this unit will record a few more sacks in 2020.
