There were some shake ups for the Denver Broncos linebackers. The real question is how did they perform during the 2019 season?

Linebackers can play such a critical role for a defense. The Denver Broncos know all about the linebacker role playing a huge difference, especially the edge rushers. There is one on the roster that is a Super Bowl 50 most valuable player, after all.

The position is very versatile. They can stuff the run, play the pass in coverage, and also get to the quarterback. For the linebackers in Denver, they have some play makers. But during the offseason, there will be a need for at least one that can hopefully start.

The one area that the Broncos linebackers struggle in was pass protection. But, that has been an issue since Danny Trevathan left in free agency as far as I know.

So, how did the linebackers do in 2019? I take a look at both the inside linebacker position and the edge rushers and give them a grade for the 2019 season. I will start with the inside linebackers.
