Shane Lemieux, Denver Broncos
PALO ALTO, CA – SEPTEMBER 21: Shane Lemieux #68 of the Oregon Ducks blocks during an NCAA Pac-12 college football game against the Stanford Cardinal on September 21, 2019 at Stanford Stadium in Palo Alto, California. Lemieux was a left guard on a very good Oregon Ducks offensive line which features at least four potential future starters in the NFL, but he might be the best one coming out this year.

Penei Sewell is a name to file away as a possible OT1 for the 2021 class.

Lemieux has extremely violent hands and is looking to knock someone’s block off when he’s out there playing the guard position.

The Broncos drafted a somewhat underwhelming athlete with a lot of experience in productivity last year in Dalton Risner, who was a much better football player than physical specimen.

Like Risner, Lemieux is rock solid in his technique and he may not be the most athletic lineman, but he has the physical tools (size, strength, functional athleticism) to start immediately for a team like the Broncos at the right guard spot and provide an upgrade over Ron Leary, Elijah Wilkinson, or whoever else the Broncos would put out there.

The Athletic had Lemieux as an All-American this past season.
