Wide receiver DaeSean Hamilton
The Denver Broncos have a star in wide receiver Courtland Sutton and are looking for more ammo at the position. They are also looking for more production from fellow 2018 draftee DaeSean Hamilton.
In Hamilton’s two seasons with the Broncos, he has been overlooked. He has caught just 58 of 97 career targets (59.8%) for 540 yards and three touchdowns.
The Broncos are in need of more help at the wide receiver position and have often been listed as a team that will look at drafting more than one wideout in the upcoming NFL Draft.
There seems to be a high expectation that the Broncos will go with wide receiver in the first round of April’s draft. There is a lot of talent at the position and it could be an unwise decision if the team chose to go in any other direction with the 15th overall pick.
There might be some more time for Hamilton to come together. Having a reliable quarterback in Drew Lock could be a big help for the third-year receiver and Lock could be the guy that saves Hamilton from being considered a player on the roster bubble.
The Broncos should give Hamilton more time to adjust to yet another quarterback. Maybe Drew Lock is the key.
