Cornerback Bryce Callahan

Yes, a lot of Broncos Country would like to see the guy on the right of the above photo in the Mile High City. But it’s the guy on the left that I want to talk about.

Bryce Callahan was a 2019 free agent signing by the Broncos and was expected to play a big role in his reunion with former Bears defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, now the head coach of the Broncos.

Unfortunately, Callahan suffered a foot injury and had complications with it throughout the year and never played a down for the Broncos in his first season with the team. He is probably the guy I am most excited about in 2020 while the Broncos search for a number one cornerback to replace Chris Harris Jr.

In 45 games with the Bears, Callahan has recorded four interceptions (two each of the last two years), 20 pass breakups, 123 tackles, and 11 tackles for loss.

It is clear that Callahan has had success under Vic Fangio. It will be a lot of fun to see it happen in a Denver Broncos uniform.
