Lloyd Cushenberry, Denver Broncos
ATLANTA, GEORGIA – DECEMBER 28: Center Lloyd Cushenberry III #79 of the LSU Tigers on the line of scrimmage against the Oklahoma Sooners during the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on December 28, 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia. (Photo by Kevin C. Cox/Getty Images) /

Depending on what needs are addressed through free agency, the idea of adding a player like Lloyd Cushenberry in round two is appealing almost regardless of what the Broncos do.

Cushenberry is an NFL-ready blocker on the interior offensive line capable of starting at any of the three interior positions, and the Broncos certainly have needs there.

With Connor McGovern headed for free agency and Ron Leary a potential cap casualty, the Broncos could very well be looking to replace two starters on the offensive interior. We don’t know, at this point, if they have any in-house ideas in mind for those potential vacancies, but Cushenberry would be an upgrade over what they had in 2019 and if he’s available in the second round — no matter where the Broncos are picking — he would be a good value.

He was absolutely outstanding for the Tigers in their banner 2019 season.
