The Broncos undoubtedly have a need at the cornerback position this offseason, but would Darius Slay satisfy it?

Obviously, the hope would be that Slay would sign a long-term deal, but losing Chris Harris Jr. and weighing the options for the foreseeable future, this type of a selection would have to be considered.

Although Gladney is not super high on unanimous NFL Draft boards around the internet, he’s probably one of the best fits in this entire class for the Vic Fangio defense.

His frame is a bit wiry, but Gladney is tough as nails and lightning quick. He reacts to the ball in the air faster than some of the wide receivers who are being targeted in his direction.

He has tremendous ball skills, evidenced by his 26 pass breakups over the last two seasons, and he is as physical as they come.

Pairing Gladney with Slay and Bryce Callahan would give the Broncos a deep, talented group of corners to feast off of what the pass rush can provide in 2020.
