The Denver Broncos have a plethora of 2020 NFL Draft picks and could wind up trading some for veteran players. This mock draft explores some options.

There is only one month left before actual NFL player movement starts happening, so we need to keep on dreaming up scenarios for the Denver Broncos and how they can become a better team in 2020.

The Broncos currently have nine draft choices and will add a few more in compensatory day three picks when the NFL awards those to teams.

The Broncos also have plenty of cap space to work with, so their flexibility is unprecedented, at least in the John Elway era. There are so many directions this team could take.

Even without projecting free agency, it’s not impossible to use just the Broncos’ projected 12 draft choices to put together an outstanding offseason for this team.

How can the Broncos utilize trades to make their roster better in the coming weeks? Not every draft choice has to be used on a college player, and John Elway has been willing to deal mid-round picks in the past for proven veteran players.

I want to explore a different kind of mock draft scenario for the Broncos, one that involves a couple of prominent veteran players coming over via trade. These trades could significantly impact the way the Broncos approach both free agency and the draft, so let’s look at a fun new scenario.
