Conclusion
After a tough start to the season that saw a former Super Bowl MVP struggle and go down, it was apparent that 2019 was going to be another rebuilding year. But a lot of promise was shown towards the end of the season with a possible quarterback of the future helping the Broncos win four of their final five games.
I do not see Joe Flacco coming back to Denver for 2020. The money will be too much as a backup to keep him. Brandon Allen could be a serviceable backup or third string depending on what Denver does in free agency.
Brick, Motar, Scrap: Broncos O-Line. dark. Next
But it appears the future is in the arm of a quarterback in the Mile High City that wears the number three. We could get to see what he is capable of with a full season and a new offensive coordinator plus quarterback’s coach. The future looks bright at the position.
