Las Vegas Raiders

There is a possibility that Shelby Harris may find some familiarity in free agency. More specifically, in the team that drafted him. Drafted in the seventh round by the Raiders in the 2014 NFL draft, he only spent a little over two years in Oakland before the team moved on from him.

Fast forward to 2020, and the newly-official Las Vegas Raiders may take a second look to the man who wasn’t good enough for their roster, and the man who ended their already slim hope of playoffs in the 2019 regular season finale. Once again, the Raiders will need defensive help, because they just seemed unable to put together many complete defensive performances in 2019, especially after losing LB Vontaze Burfict to a year-long suspension early on.

Although unfortunate for the Broncos, Las Vegas will likely be a hot-spot for free agents this season, whether it be the excitement of a beautiful stadium in a new city, or the fact that Las Vegas no longer carries a tax, either. The Raiders will also have plenty of money to spend in 2020.

Shelby Harris would be a good addition to the promising defensive line the Raiders carry in Clelin Ferrell, Maurice Hurst, and especially their young game-wrecker in Maxx Crosby. Although it is not too often we see a Bronco jump to a divisional opponent, this move makes sense for both parties, and I give this a pretty likely possibility that it could happen.
