Patrick Morris, center

When the Broncos bring in a player like Morris, who worked with Mike Munchak in Pittsburgh for a season before he came to Denver, it’s important to take notice of it.

Perhaps Morris will continue developing as a backup type in 2020, but what if this guy is a legitimate option to be the team’s starting center in 2020?

You never know.

The Broncos figure to be active in pursuing upgrades on the interior offensive line, especially if the team decides to move on from Ron Leary and potentially Connor McGovern as well.

Morris is a squatty, strong, pretty darn athletic player at the center position who struggled with injuries in college.

He was actually teammates with another backup offensive lineman in Denver, Austin Schlottmann, at TCU.

Morris is certainly favored by Mike Munchak, so we’ll see if the Broncos think they have a gem on their hands here.
