Three straight LSU players? What, did you watch the National Championship game or something, Sayre?

I get that this seems like LSU overkill but I was playing the board the way it fell with TDN’s algorithm, and I love Edwards-Helaire’s projection to the NFL.

Over the course of this season at LSU, we saw Edwards-Helaire emerge as a true featured back in every sense, not only grinding out tough yardage when needed but showing off tackle-breaking abilities, pass-catching abilities, and explosiveness at the second and third level of defense.

Edwards-Helaire would be a fantastic third-round pick for an offense with two young backs already in Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman provided the Broncos would opt to not go after a player like Kenyan Drake in free agency, a move I would strongly endorse.

This guy had 24 touchdowns over the past two seasons and caught 55 balls for LSU as a junior along with averaging 6.6 yards per carry.
