It is no secret that the Denver Broncos are going to need some playmakers for Drew Lock in the upcoming draft. Benjamin Solak has them drafting CeeDee Lamb.

With the hiring of Pat Shurmur as offensive coordinator, the Denver Broncos are looking to have an experienced coach capable of getting a lot of out Drew Lock’s potential. I personally believe the hire was great. It did come at the expense of Rich Scangarello, but having a veteran offensive mind in Denver is what the team needs.

The next thing the Denver Broncos need to do is find some playmakers to help Drew Lock’s development and allow Shurmur to really get a lot out of the Broncos offense. Who else could the team add with Phillip Lindsay, Courtland Sutton, and Noah Fant? The obvious answer should be a receiver that can play along side Sutton.

Benjamin Solak from The Draft Network knows a guy. And I truly am a-okay with this. Solak mocked Oklahoma wide out CeeDee Lamb to the Denver Broncos with the 15th overall pick in his latest mock draft. I truly am surprised that he lasted past the top ten in this mock draft. In his last mock, he had Lamb as the third player selected.

But this makes me a very happy camper. CeeDee Lamb has some amazing skills as a wide out. Despite the Big 12 Conference not being a strong one on the defensive side, Lamb proved over the last couple seasons that he can be a big time playmaker on the offensive side of the ball.

His route running, height, and speed make him such a dynamic force for offenses. The fact that he could potentially fall into the laps of the Denver Broncos would be exciting.

However, there is still a little over three months until the NFL Draft. But if Denver is able to add the speedy CeeDee Lamb to the offense, watch out.
