Day three picks

Hakeem Adeniji, OT, Kansas

I love this pick for the Broncos and I think it’s a good fit if he’s there in round four. Adeniji has played a lot of football in college and has been productive as a left tackle with some experience as a guard as well. I like that versatility for the Broncos and I would love to have this guy as a developmental starter at one of those two positions.

AJ Green, CB, Oklahoma State

Green is another player who is really low on TDN’s predictive board that other people have rated in the top 100. He’s got excellent length and speed to close on the football. Some analysts say he’s perfect for a primarily zone coverage scheme, and that would obviously make him a great fit with the Broncos.

Terrell Burgess, S, Utah

I like the option of adding more and more defensive backfield depth on day three of the draft, as that appears to be where some of the strength lies in this particular class of defensive backs. Burgess has struggled some with injuries, but had a big senior season for Utah with 81 total tackles.

Antonio Gibson, RB/WR, Memphis

The 6-foot-2, 221-pound Gibson had 71 touches this past season at Memphis and 12 of them went for touchdowns. He was a big-play threat at both wide receiver and running back and could be a fun offensive weapon to develop this late in the draft.
