At this particular point in time, Michigan center Cesar Ruiz is being underrated by the masses.

An NFL-ready 6-foot-4, 319-pound interior lineman, Ruiz has the ideal combination of strength and athleticism desired at the center position and is currently rising up draft boards rapidly.

He won’t turn 21 until the Summer, and this guy’s upside is through the roof.

Right now, the TDN mock draft simulator has him as a late day three pick, but that was probably just because they were waiting for him to officially declare for the draft, which he has.

He was stellar this season showing off his athleticism and ability to block in space as well as excellent in pass protection.

Whether you slot a guy like Ruiz here or maybe a player like Temple’s Matt Hennessy, I think the Broncos are pretty certain to take an interior lineman in their top three picks. Perhaps we will eventually see Ruiz pop up in round two of mock drafts with a wide receiver popping back up with one of the three third-round picks, but as of right now, I was able to manipulate the TDN system and get Ruiz in round three.
