Drew Lock is the potential franchise quarterback

As I write this part, it is very true that the Denver Broncos could have something special in Drew Lock. Yes, when he was drafted, I was not a fan because of the tape that I saw and there was something about his time in Missouri that just screamed that it might not work out.

But in a five game sample size, he has so far proven me wrong. Now, once I get a feel for what he can do with a bigger sample size, I can effectively evaluate it.

But to bring Tom Brady in for a year or two and disrupt the chemistry Drew Lock has built with the young skill players on the roster just for a quick fix potential Super Bowl victory would be a huge dis-service to Drew Lock.

He believes he can be the quarterback of the future. Some of the Broncos have even come out to say that. It would also show that the front office and coaches do not believe in him. Imagine what that would do to a young quarterback’s confidence?

I am sorry, but that would be completely unfair. And my biggest reason why Denver should not waste their time on Tom Brady.
