Broncos and veteran quarterbacks have not mixed

Over the last ten seasons, with the exception of Peyton Manning, the Denver Broncos have not done a solid job when it comes to signing veteran quarterbacks in hoping that they can rejuvenate their careers.

Not saying that Tom Brady had a bad year, he certainly was solid. It is just that he did not get that support. And while he can in Denver, there is just a weird karma with the Denver Broncos and veteran quarterbacks.

Look at Kyle Orton, Mark Sanchez, Case Keenum, and Joe Flacco. Neither one of those quarterbacks worked out in the time they were in Denver. Keenum and Flacco went a combined 8-16 as the starter.

While Tom Brady would be an improvement over Keenum and Flacco, the whole veteran quarterback and Denver Broncos combination just does not mix.
