Draft

The NFL Draft has provided plenty of cornerback talent over the years. Guys like Champ Bailey, Darrelle Revis, Patrick Peterson, Richard Sherman, etc. have entered the league via the draft.

The Broncos will know whether or not cornerback will be a high priority in the draft and free agency. So how high would they be willing to draft one?

Jeff Okudah, CB, Ohio State

Okudah is a 6’1”, 200 lb cornerback from Ohio State who is projected to go in the first half of the first round in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Okudah was a 5-star recruit at Ohio State. In 2019, he recorded 35 tackles, two forced fumbles, and three interceptions.

He also defended 18 passes in three seasons at Ohio State.

CJ Henderson, CB, Florida

There are things that could interest the Denver Broncos with CJ Henderson such as his ability to follow opposing wide receivers during their routes.

That could be a huge advantage for the Broncos if they choose to go this direction in the draft.

In 30 games in three years at Florida, Henderson recorded 93 tackles (66 solo),  six interceptions and twenty passes defended. He also forced two fumbles.
