Third round, second pick

Waiting until the fourth pick for an offensive lineman?

Sure, why not?

I could see the Broncos taking an offensive lineman as early as the first round. I could see them waiting for round two.

I can also see them waiting for round three.

Calvin Throckmorton is an interesting player for this team’s current situation because he has excelled not only as a tackle (both right and left) but has also done well as a guard and center for the Ducks.

The Broncos need to bring in competition for Garett Bolles. They may also need a guy who can step in and start at right guard or right tackle if Ja’Wuan James can’t stay healthy.

They could also need a center if Connor McGovern isn’t retained.

I hope McGovern is back for the sake of not having to force a pick at center in the draft, but Throckmorton could fill multiple spots for this team if need be and I like the fit at this juncture of the draft.
