The Denver Broncos have the 15th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, and there are still plenty of 2020 NFL Draft scenarios to like for this team.

With Drew Lock at the helm, the Denver Broncos took a 3-8 record from their first 11 games of the season and turned it into a 7-9 second-place finish in the AFC West.

As far as finishing out the season on a positive note, the Broncos accomplished that in a big way.

Not only did the team start winning games (7-5 since the dismal 0-4 start) but they appear to have discovered their quarterback of the future, which completely changes the narrative for the 2020 offseason.

The Broncos are moving into the offseason with confidence in their quarterback position. We haven’t had that since 2014. They are also going into the offseason with continuity at:

  • Head coach
  • Offensive coordinator
  • Defensive coordinator
  • Quarterback

2014 was also the last time that happened.

With a young quarterback in place, the Broncos have both financial and draft flexibility, especially with nine (and soon to be 11 or 12) picks in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Denver may not have 12 roster spots for rookies when all is said and done, so right now, draft scenarios all are to be taken with a grain of salt because some of these players we look at in scenarios will not necessarily be ‘needed’ by the time free agency is wrapped up.

I recently ran a mock draft scenario using The Draft Network’s mock draft machine and here’s what I came up with for the Broncos.
